In 2009 we joined ANZAAB

marking a pivotal moment in transitioning to the rare book Trade.

(Australian and New Zealand Association of Antiquarian Booksellers)

They bring together collectors, enthusiasts, and booksellers to celebrate the beauty and significance of antiquarian books.

ANZAAB organizes prominent fairs in Melbourne and Sydney. These fairs offer attendees the chance to explore and purchase rare, collectible, and scholarly works. These events offer a platform for booksellers to present curated selections across diverse fields while fostering connections within the bibliophile community. For more details, visit ANZAAB Book Fairs.

Ankh Antiquarian Books takes pride in participating and is a commitment we have upheld for almost two decades. We regularly attend the annual ANZAAB book fairs in Melbourne and Sydney. At these events, we showcase our extensive collection of antiquarian and rare books and Ephemera.

These events are a valuable opportunity for enthusiasts, collectors, and scholars. They get the chance to explore carefully curated works in Ancient History, Art and Ephemera.

Our collection includes works in Egyptology and Greek, Rome, Ancient Near East, English history, Theology, Philosophy and more.

We would love to see you at our next fair!

The Melbourne Rare Book fair 2023 video

In 2022 and 2023, after the worldwide pandemic, we had the pleasure of working with some of our younger bookworms and hi-fi enthusiasts to create a beautiful after-video for the Melbourne Rare Book Fair.

They captured the magic of the event, from the stunning books on display to some insightful interviews with your favorite booksellers.

These videos showcase the excitement, passion, and dedication that make the fair such a special experience for collectors and book lovers alike.
